Workshop moments

TALLINN

 

Main entrance of the estonian art academy in Tallinn. In the backyard is the IDK (interdisciplinary art departement) located, our base for five days in Tallinn.

Erik Alalooga, teacher at the IDK, coocked fantastic soups for all hungry participants.

The wood carver Endel Saarepuu invited us to his fairytale-like living and working place in the near of Tallinn.

At the fireplace we discussed with him and his daughter Silja Saarepuu about his aims, visions and life.

His person and his work opened an ideal ground for to discuss about the importance of privacy and personality in Performance Art.

In the near of Endl Saarepuu's house Silja showed us the "Eighth Wonder of the World", an intrigued form of nature. A tree which grows on the top of a huges stone.

The visit of the alternative art space SPORT created a special atmosphere for spontaneously sound improvisations. Interesting discussions about different ways how to present art accrued.

Our new residency: Nongrata Academy in Pärnu.
